Run/Walk For Women
Dear
Friends,
For its fifth year in a row, the dental office of
Dr. Jay Grossman & Associates will be walking
in the Los Angeles 5K Revlon Run/Walk for the fight
against women’s cancers. Since Dr. Grossman’s
wife’s diagnosis with breast cancer in 2002,
we have formed a united community to raise funds
and participate in the worlds easiest, most fun,
and rewarding walk of the year. We walk with friends,
family, and all of our community!

A Success Story
"Homeless
Not Toothless"
Founded by Dr. Grossman in 1993,
this 501C(3) non profit program provides free dental
care to the homeless. Presently, there are nearly
three dozen dental offices participating in LA. Most
of the patients are referred by the Venice Family
Clinic, where their dental needs and the necessity
for treatment in a private practice setting are assessed.
Since
its inception, Homeless
Not Toothless has provided over $1 Million in
service for this population. The Dentists who volunteer
their time and either pay for laboratory expenses
themselves or work with labs who donate dental work
as their way of contributing to this cause. In addition,
the dentists and staff who work with the homeless
patients do so without any financial compensation
and with only the kindest and most generous of hearts.

Revlon Run/Walk For Women - 2007
Our
office participated in the Revlon Breast Cancer
Run/Walk For Women in May, 2007, in support of my
wife who is a breast cancer survivor.
I
want to personally thank all of you who joined us
for the walk, as
well as contributed financially. I am thrilled to
let you know that we
raised over $21,000!
